BigPanda acquires Velocity

After five incredible years building Velocity, I’m thrilled to share that Velocity is joining BigPanda to accelerate a shared vision of automating incident response at scale.

From day one, we focused on solving our customers’ toughest challenges. Through rapid feedback loops with our design partners, we uncovered a clear opportunity: helping R&D and operations teams reduce MTTR and respond to incidents faster.

After meeting Assaf Resnick, BigPanda’s Co-Founder and CEO, it was immediately clear that our technologies and missions aligned. By combining Velocity’s agentic incident response with BigPanda’s agentic ITOps strategy, enterprise-scale platform, and rich operational data, we can eliminate repetitive work and deliver smarter L1 automation for customers worldwide.

As part of the acquisition, the Velocity team will be integrated into the AI Detection and Response product line, of which I will be the leader, continuing our mission to automate human-driven incident workflows.
